"A letter, a symbol, or a sign contain a certain vibration and symbolism which preserve and hand down the ancient heritage to another time. They are a bridge through the time. They cannot be searched through..."
Djordje Djordjević
Born in Belgrade in 1949, graduated and took the degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti Brera in Milan, Italy, in 1972.
He lives and works in Belgrade. He has been the member of the prestigious Association of Fine Artists of Serbia – ULUS since 1982.
"A letter, a symbol, or a sign contain a certain vibration and symbolism which preserve and hand down the ancient heritage to another time. They are a bridge through the time. They cannot be searched through, and clearly defined because they consist of metaphysical vibrations of general character which carry a grave and stable tranquility, and balance that originates in transcendental.
That atmosphere of peaceful energy and some kind of hidden knowledge is what I want to write down and set apart. The focus is the meeting point of dynamism and instantaneous aggressivity in time, with metaphysical silence and unbounded space of transcendental."
